1. Who we are

Biller | ZeroFy is an online invoice creation and management service operated at billing.zerofy.me. The service allows individuals and businesses to create, preview, save, and manage invoices. References to "we", "us", or "our" refer to the operator of this service. References to "you" or "your" refer to the person or entity using the service.

2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Biller | ZeroFy, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and our privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Your explicit acceptance is recorded at the time of account creation and is stored in our database for legal audit purposes, along with the version of the terms you agreed to, your IP address, and the date and time of acceptance.

3. The service

Biller | ZeroFy provides a browser-based invoice editor. The core features include:

• Creating invoices with biller details, recipient details, line items, tax, and discounts
• Previewing invoices in a print-ready format and saving them as PDFs
• Saving invoice drafts locally in your browser
• Sharing invoices via encoded URL links
• Storing invoice history securely on our servers when you are signed in

No account is required to create your first 10 invoices in guest mode. Invoice drafts in guest mode are stored locally in your browser and are not recoverable if you clear your browser data.

4. Accounts

To save more than 10 invoices and access your invoice history across devices, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information including your name and email address
• Keep your password secure and not share it with anyone
• Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
• Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

Accounts are for individual or business use by the registered user only. You may not transfer your account to another person or entity.

5. Free plan and paid plans

Free plan: Available to all registered users. Limited to 10 saved invoices. All invoices generated on the free plan include a "Billing | ZeroFy" watermark. Custom invoice branding is not available on the free plan.

Paid plans: Paid plans remove the invoice limit and watermark and unlock additional features including custom invoice headers. Two paid plans are available:

• Monthly plan — ₹99 per month: Billed monthly. Includes unlimited invoices, no watermark, custom branding, and early access to new features.
• Yearly plan — ₹999 per year: Billed annually upfront. Includes all features of the monthly plan at a discounted rate (saving ₹189 compared to 12 months of monthly billing).

Plan features, pricing, and availability are subject to change. We will provide reasonable notice of any material changes to pricing for existing paid subscribers.

6. Payments and billing

Payments are processed securely by PayU, a third-party payment gateway. By initiating a payment, you also agree to PayU's terms and conditions. We do not store your card details at any point — payment information is handled entirely by PayU.

Upon successful payment, your account is upgraded to the paid plan immediately. The transaction ID is stored in our system for reconciliation and support purposes only.

Paid plan access begins on the date of successful payment. Monthly plans renew automatically each month; yearly plans renew annually. It is your responsibility to cancel before the renewal date if you do not wish to be charged again.

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

7. Refunds

We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused periods of a paid plan. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using a feature you paid for, contact us and we will investigate and resolve it. Refund decisions are at our sole discretion and will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

8. Acceptable use

You agree to use Biller | ZeroFy only for lawful purposes. You must not use the service to:

• Create invoices for goods, services, or transactions that are illegal under applicable law
• Create fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive invoices
• Impersonate any person, business, or entity
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its infrastructure
• Introduce malware, viruses, or any harmful code
• Scrape, copy, or systematically extract data from the service
• Use the service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

9. Your invoice data

You own the invoice data you create. We do not claim any rights over the content of your invoices. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of the invoices you create and send using this service. We are not responsible for any disputes, tax obligations, or legal matters arising from the invoices you generate.

Invoice data is stored on our servers for the purpose of delivering the service. You can delete individual invoices from your history at any time. To request full deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us directly.

10. Intellectual property

The Biller | ZeroFy name, logo, interface design, and underlying code are owned by us. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the service without our prior written consent. Nothing in these terms grants you any rights to our intellectual property other than the limited right to use the service as described here.

11. Third-party services

The service relies on the following third-party providers to operate:

• Supabase — user authentication and session management
• PayU — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery (account confirmation, password reset)
• Google Fonts — typography (DM Sans, Space Grotesk), loaded from Google's CDN

We are not responsible for the availability, actions, or policies of these third-party services. Their use is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

12. Service availability

We aim to keep the service available at all times but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes at any time with or without notice. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by downtime or service interruption.

Features, plan limits, and pricing may change as the product develops. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes in advance.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the service. This includes but is not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or business interruption — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that invoices generated by this service meet any specific legal or tax requirements in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for ensuring your invoices comply with applicable laws and regulations.

15. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it. By using the service, you agree to our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the version number and date at the bottom of this page. Continued use of the service after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to updated terms, you should stop using the service.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
